It was a great honour to host Ryron Gracie at our School in July. Ryron is one of the best teachers of Gracie Jiu Jitsu i have studied with over the many years as a student. The Seminar was split into two sections; Mount – Upa variations. So many tiny details, e.g trapping the arm with our chest and chin, distance management etc. Side Mount – Same as the mount, focus on distance management etc. This led to Knee on stomach and North/South escapes. I have been attending Dartford BJJ for several months participating in Gracie Jiu Jitsu group classes and private lessons with Professor Dave Birkett.
