First off: despite the click-baity title, this is an earnest question that I’m having trouble finding the answer to given the discussion around LGBTQ+ changes in the BOD, and I’m hoping to get some clarity. I know there are several colleges affiliated with the United Methodist Church, but I'm curious how many colleges are still owned and operated by the United Methodist Church. I'm an alum of Lon Morris College, a two-year liberal arts college that was once one of the oldest colleges in Texas and west of the Mississippi. It promoted itself as "an institution of Thee Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church."
