On Friday, the CDC updated recommendations that fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear masks or physically distance.  Up to this point, our leadership has followed CDC guidelines and that’s what we’ll be doing now as well. Beginning this weekend, masks are optional in worship and adult programs. It is still recommended that unvaccinated people wear masks. However, your personal decision will be respected. Years ago, the Hutchinson Hospital, Hutchinson Clinic, and Reno County Cancer Council started  a women’s cancer support group named “Hope”. This group is a safe place for women to share their cancer journey and to be encouraged. During the pandemic, we moved our meeting location from the hospital to Trinity. We meet on the third Tuesday of each month at noon in the foyer by the coffee bar. We have wonderful news! We have reopened for in-person Sunday worship with the 8:45 AM traditional service in the sanctuary and the 10:45 AM contemporary service in the Warner Wing. This decision is based on several factors including the fact that the number of active coronavirus cases in Reno County has been decreasing at a steady rate and more and more people are receiving the vaccine.
