Developer C2 Game Studio announced that it has rebranded its upcoming third-person action RPG Monolith: Requiem of the Ancients to new title Astor: Blade of the Monolith. Developer Supergiant Games began a technical test for its upcoming roguelike Hades II. Those interested in participating can sign-up on the game’s Steam page using the “Request Access” action. The players whose access request is accepted will receive an email from Steam with download instructions. During the Nintendo Indie World Showcase, developer The Gentlebros and publisher Kepler Interactive revealed the release date for the upcoming open-world RPG Cat Quest III. The game will launch on August 8, 2024, for PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, with pre-orders currently available. Publisher Plaion and developer Warhorse Studios have announced Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, a sequel to 2018’s Kingdom Come: Deliverance. The medieval action RPG picks up directly after the events of the first game, continuing the story of blacksmith’s on Henry in 15th century Bohemia. It is planned to release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S later this year. Shiro Games has released new DLC for its tactical RPG Wartales. The new DLC — titled The Tavern Opens! — is available for PC on Steam and GOG.com for $12.99 with a 10% launch discount. Publisher G-MODE announced that it is releasing Persona 3 Aigis: The First Mission on PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch in Japanese. The game, a port of the 2007 Japanese mobile phone action RPG, will be released as a G-MODE Archives+ title, though a release date has not been announced. Persona 3 Aigis: The First Mission is set ten years before the events of Persona 3 and takes place at the Kirijo Ergonomics Institute in Yakushima. Independant developer TheGamingVan announced action RPG Legends of Dionysos. The story of title is set in a dark medieval phantasy realm. Players assume the role of a character they create at the start of the game, which is in 2.5D while featuring an open-world experience.
