Hi all! I started Whole30 yesterday and have been doing great so far, but I think the structure of making my meals and going into an office for 9+ hours a day will really help me to stay on track during the week. I'm nervous for the weekend! I usually get take out and indulge in my cravings on the weekends. Any advice about how to stay on track and not eat out of boredom would be welcome!

I’m halfway through R1 PBW30. My sugar cravings are practically non-existent and I’m wondering how to keep them at bay long term. I’m fine with keeping treats to special occasions but I’d like to reincorporate maple syrup/natural sweeteners into dishes again mainly for sauces/dressings. For those that have completed W30 before, did using natural sweeteners sparingly in dishes increase your cravings again? What reintroduced foods increased sugar cravings for you and which did not? Does bread awaken the dragon more than rice? Any long term tips appreciated, I’m trying to be strategic here!

Hi! Have just started plant based whole 30. I didn’t anticipate it being so different from my usual diet as I’m vegetarian but somehow I am STARVING
Today so far I’ve had:
Breakfast: fruit and greens smoothie with pea protein Snack: half a cup of hummus with cucumbers and plantains to dip Lunch: A power bowl with squash, black beans, salsa, cauli rice, kale and a little leftover tofu

Used this recipe and I’m thrilled with the texture and flavor!
1 cup cassava flour 1 cup potato starch (sweet potato starch would also work) 3 tablespoons avocado or olive oil 1 1/2 cups water 1 egg Salt to taste (I used about 1/2 tsp)
Preheat oven to 475°F. Mix your dry ingredients and then add mixed wet ingredients. Knead together to form a dough ball. Roll out as flat and thin as possible on a non-stick surface. Place squares or rounds on a non-stick baking sheet or aluminum foil, then poke holes with a fork. Set in the oven middle rack for 4 minutes, then flip for 4 additional minute ..read more

Yep, that’s the question. I am on day 5. It isn’t really very hard for me, but I’m only doing it to help joint pain and energy levels. So far, I still feel like a walking corpse.
Granted, I get up at 530 every morning, work, homeschool my kids, work again, then bed at 11, but I used to have the ability to endure far more.

**this one in particular is not compliant because it does contain monkfruit. Not only do they have caffeine, but all the flavors are so good. There’s also an almond cacao latte, a matcha latte and they even have cold brew concentrates in different infused flavors. Those are all compliant. I like to add a splash into my coffee and it helps to sweeten it a bit so I don’t hate drinking my coffee all the time now ?
