Dear Friend in Christ, Sometimes it may seem that God is somewhere far away from us. We may want to go to Him and talk to Him, but we’re not sure how. Still, God wants us to feel close to Him. He doesn’t want to be a distant figure in our life. We will soon be sending out the Cathedral’s Community Christmas Card and encourage all parishioners to include a greeting to our Cathedral community. Mailed to over 1000 families, the card includes your greetings for a Blessed Christmas and a joyous, peaceful New Year to them, and beyond. And, it is an additional means of support to the Cathedral’s ministries. The donation remains at $30 but please feel free to increase your family's contribution to help support our church. Two Spring 2024 scholarships are available for students. The Philoptochos Scholarship ($1,500) and The Andrew and Efrosine Memorial Scholarship ($1,500). The application deadline is December 3, 2023.
