Dr. Joelle Pineau Dr. Joelle Pineau won a Governor General’s Innovation Award for her work in applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to healthcare. Dr. Pineau joined the Ambassadors Club last November for bringing, together with her colleague Doina Precup, the 30th International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence — IJCAI 2021 to the Palais. Sugaring off at the Palais A must every spring in Québec, sugaring off is a seasonal tradition we all eagerly await. Visitors can indulge their sweet tooth at Place Riopelle Hall, where we are serving maple taffy on a stick. The first 350 sticks are free, and only $2 after that.
