The club still is dealing with financial difficulties
FC Barcelona are reportedly looking to sell one starter in order to have money to sign other key players in the transfer market, and Ronald Araujo could be the one sacrificed.
Jules Koundé, Alejandro Balde, Robert Lewandowski, and Raphinha have also been considered as potential sources of income, although it is said they do not want to leave.
The Uruguayan’s error against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League put him under the crosshairs, but that is not really the reason for Barcelona mulling th ..read more

İlkay Gündoğan and João Cancelo are the only ones who start
FC Barcelona’s signings this season have not won starting jobs as some had hoped, with only two players becoming key names in the starting XI: İlkay Gündoğan and João Cancelo.
And it’s worth noting that Cancelo has faced a lot of criticism over his performances in the last few matches, especially in the defending area.
Oriol Romeu has failed to make an impression and been relegated to only occasional appearances despite multiple injuries in midfield.

La Liga could permit Barcelona much more financial flexibility
FC Barcelona is hoping to get approval from La Liga to begin signing players under the “1-1 rule,” that is, they will be able to spend every euro they bring in.
Up to this point, Barcelona had operated under the 1-4 rule, which means they could only spend one euro for every four they saved or brought in.
Of course, that meant that Barcelona had to make huge savings in terms of contracts and sell a lot in order to make signings.
The Catalans are reportedly optimistic that they will cl ..read more

Club should save their money...
Within the space of a few days, Barcelona fans have finally accepted that Pep Guardiola was right about Joao Cancelo all along.
His performances against both Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid show that he’s not an elite level player and certainly not one that deserves a permanent Barcelona contract.
At best he could be offered another loan deal but would arguably need to play second fiddle because his way of working in the two biggest games of the season to date was woeful.
