KMIA hosted a spelling Bee on the 20th of October 2023. There were five primary schools and five high schools from surrounding areas. Each school had two entries for the competition which amounted to 20 participants. Primary school:  Grade three and Grade six, students. High School: Grade nine and grade eleven, students. The KMIA soccer tournament was hosted at the Dwaleni sports ground on the 14th of October 2023. The tournament kicked off at 9am where four teams were competing  for the prizes. The teams,  Simunye Promotions (Kabokweni) , Killers FC (Backdoor), Highlanders FC (Dwaleni), Rockville United (Dwaleni) played the semifinals where two teams were knocked out and had to play each other for third place. KMIA played the Dwaleni Masters for an entertainment match as a build up to the final game. Positive Women’s Network (PWN) event

The event was hosted in Tekatakho, Kabokweni at the Herohim Church on the 13th of December 2023. KMIA joined hands with PWN – which is a national organisation aimed to address GBV, HIV/Aids, TB, substance abuse as well as social welfare – to make this event possible for our local community . There were around 50 people who attended the event from the surrounding community, which made it an intimate session with one-on one sessions, instead of having larger crowds.
