I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that most of you have heard about the Snoo. It's made it's rounds through the social media world and many parents have raved about this "robo bassinet" claiming that the Snoo is what helped their baby sleep long stretches throughout the night. I have been keeping an eye on the Snoo ever since I heard about it a couple of years ago. Not only did it look beautiful but the fact that this bassinet could also rock your baby into a sweet slumber with it's womb mimicking sounds and movement was enough to peak my interest. Once we found out we were having a bab ..read more

The Newborn Products We Can’t Live Without

When I first started creating our baby registry, I had zero clue what to add to it beyond recommendations that friends and family gave me. Even with the recommendations, I now realize that a lot of the things I put on there serve the same or a similar purpose and almost felt like repeats of each other once Brady arrived. For example, Jonny and I bought the Happiest Baby Snoo to act as our bassinet because of all the rave reviews we read about it (more on this below). The Snoo comes with it's own special swaddle that attaches to the bassinet to keep baby in place while he sleeps but I also re ..read more

Brady’s Nursery Reveal

When we first started envisioning Brady's nursery room, we knew one thing for sure. We wanted it to be a gender neutral space. Even before we found out we were having a boy, we would've created the same type of space for a girl because we both really love a gender neutral feel for a baby's room. We also knew that we didn't want it to feel too "baby" and look more like another room in our home with a similar mid century modern vibe. JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Brady’s Birth Story

Brady, Brady, Brady. He came into our world on February 26th, weighing 8.5 pounds and measuring at 19 inches. We fell in love immediately and Jonny and I are living in a newborn dream. Jonny and I talked a lot about what we wanted our birth experience to be. We decided that we didn't want to hire someone to take hospital photos because we wanted to be 100% in the moment as Brady entered our world. To be honest, I am so glad that we went this route because Jonny and I were able to experience every single second of Brady's birth and we will never forget how special it felt. With that said, I wa ..read more

I mean the adulthood when you can actually begin to afford the luxury skincare items you want instead of finding whatever is available at Target), I always thought that they more expensive the skincare item, the better it would work. I would actually scoff at lower priced skincare because how could they work just as well as the super expensive brands that I was spending hundreds of dollars on? I mean, weren't those produc ..read more

Whether you have ever experienced pregnancy yourself or know someone close to you who has, chances are you understand how difficult it can be to find luxurious and quality maternity pieces that not only fit well but make you feel beautiful even though your body is changing every day. Now that I am currently well into my nine month of pregnancy, I have found myself reaching for the same few items every day because they are the only pieces that I still feel good in, which can feel a bit boring and tiresome ..read more

I think anyone that has been pregnant would agree that pregnancy is weiiiiiird. Like, weird things happen to your body and many of them I had not heard of before experiencing them myself. I wonder if women just forget about them or brush them off as "hey, that's pregnancy for ya!" However, I always think it's humbling to share honest experiences in this space and decided I would open up about some of the weirdness I have personally endured throughout this pregnancy ..read more

When Jonny and I first started to think up baby shower ideas, we only knew two things: We wanted it to be a co-ed shower and we wanted it to be hosted at a meaningful place in San Francisco. If you have been following me for awhile, you most likely know how much we love the historical and stunning Palace Hotel. Jonny and I have stayed at the Palace Hotel many times and I have also stayed there with girlfriends. Every time I visited the Palace, I was always blown away by their hospitality, their impressive attention to detail, and the very classic San Francisco vibe that the hotel emits. The P ..read more

Things that helped me through 9 months of growing a human

Here's what I've learned over the past almost 8 months of growing baby. IT'S HARD because things are constantly changing. One week you may have one symptom and then BAM! The next week that symptom goes away or gets worse AND makes way for a new symptom to make it's way into your new normal. This has definitely been the case for me this pregnancy. Luckily, I have had a very pleasant pregnancy and for the most part, have enjoyed being pregnant. Until the last week or so (I'm now in my 33rd week), I have felt mostly like usual self and didn't feel like pregnancy slowed me down or made me feel cr ..read more

Ah!!! It's finally here! Jonny and I have been waiting to reveal our kitchen to all of you because we wanted it to be as perfect as possible. We were hoping that everything would be done by December 2019 but like most home projects, there are still a few things that we will be adding in the next few months. With that said, it felt silly to put off revealing our kitchen to you because A.) We are super proud of it B.) It's been 6 months in the making and C.) This is real life aka home projects can take a LONG time to complete, especially the final touches. JavaScript is currently disabled in ..read more
