First fishing tournament so i was very exited. Got one small pike in 8 hour but the bite was very hard for everybody today so i ended up 4 on 20 in my category. So I am looking into getting a kayak for fishing. It’s mainly going to be for trout fishing, specifically Rocky Mountain lakes and reservoirs. Once I get more experience, idk if it’s possible but id be open to venturing into creeks and rivers. But for right now mainly the lakes and reservoirs. What should I go with or start with? I may even take it back home some to Texas and fish some of the lakes around there for bass. I will be doing fly fishing mainly and then sometimes I’ll probably use a basic reel with lures.
