Plans for private investment in Bundesliga were recently shelved after fan protests across Germany but clubs are now facing a financial backlash. Speaking to Sky Germany, VfB Stuttgart sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth has denied any interest from Bayern Munich towards winger Chris Führich.  When asked about interests from Bayern, Wohlgemuth said: “It doesn’t surprise me that our players are also of interest to top clubs. Sport Bild reports that if Eintracht Frankfurt decide to sell striker Omar Marmoush then a fee of €50-60m could convince them to sell. Marmoush is Frankfurt’s top scorer this season with 10 goals after only joining the club on a free transfer in the summer from Wolfsburg. An unnamed Premier League club inquires about Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface

Sky Germany reports that an unnamed Premier League club has approached Bayer Leverkusen with an inquiry about the availability of striker Victor Boniface.  However, the Nigerian is currently not for sale and Leverkusen wishes to keep Boniface for another season. In the case that Leverkusen are interested in selling Boniface, then a fee of at least €55m would only open Leverkusen to initial negotiations.  Boniface only joined Leverkusen from Union-Saint Gilloise in Belgium in the summer.
