Drogheda Arts Festival returns for 2023. Small but Mighty! After the success of last year’s festival we are delighted to announce the Drogheda Arts Festival returns with a bumper two-day festival. The themes of love, sensuality and the body feature heavily in the work of Dimitra Xidous, while Moyra Donaldson’s collections Carnivorous and Bone House explore myth, motherhood and grief. The programming committee of Drogheda Arts Festival has made the difficult decision to cancel the festival in its entirety for 2020. While many services and shops are beginning to reopen, the restrictions around live events make it impossible for us to produce the Arts Festival later in the year. Health and safety for both our artists and audiences is our priority at this time. We would like to thank the Arts Council and Louth County Council for enabling us to pay cancellation fees to our cultural workers.
