Today is my first try using the shaving stick La Toja and let me say this now I'm not digging the scent one bit. Now that I have that out of the way I can tell you a little about this regarded shaving stick. La Toja is a renowned Spanish brand known for its luxurious shaving products, including its iconic shaving stick. La Toja shaving sticks are celebrated for their rich lather and moisturizing properties, providing a smooth and comfortable shaving experience. Made with natural ingredients, such as mineral salts from the La Toja island off the coast of Galicia in Spain, these shaving st ..read more

First Time Using Speick Shaving Stick
Wet The Face
by

Today I use for the first time a shaving stick called Speick. I have used Arko's stick and on my first try I didn't use it correctly I was brought up on wet shaving charges for misuse of wet shaving equipment with the community. I did go back and make another video doing a stick shave properly. I will use the same method here using Speick. This all came about during a conversation with my friend Dan he sent me two links to shaving sticks the Speick and the other La Toja. The La Toja has a scent that I clearly point out in the video I do not like but am willing to try in our next video. The ..read more

Infinity & Nebula Purple Shaving Bowl

Today I'm proud to introduce a new product from Wet The Face. Introducing 3D-printed shaving bowls. As I've said in the past I set out to learn Fusion 360 and in a few months I felt confident to create a few products and this is one of them. The inside of our shaving bowl was designed to promote lather creation. The purpose of this specially designed textured bottom is to aid in breaking down the shaving soap or cream, incorporating air into the lather, and evenly distributing it across the bristles of the shaving brush. This process results in a thick, creamy lather that softens the beard h ..read more

Shaving & Talking #18
Wet The Face
by

Today on shaving & talking I show some of the 3D-printed bowl designs I've been working on. We have three variants, WTF / Wet The Face / no side logos / all shaving bowls have Wet The Face on the underside of the bowl. Unfortunately, due to the increased time of adding logos, each one will have a slightly different cost due to additional time and materials. Chuck our CAD designer is working on getting his bowls ready and he has one that takes the shape of our previous bowl from Alford. I also plan on restocking the coconut bowls in a few weeks. Not only have these been great as shaving ..read more

Yaqi Excalibur and The SEnoch Comparison: Today, we delve into the ongoing controversy surrounding the Yaqi Excalibur and The SEnoch from Classic Shaving. While many assume these razors are identical, why is Classic Shaving pricing them at $60 when they're available for $20 on Aliexpress? I set out to uncover the truth. Interaction with Luke Webster: I ordered a Yaqi Excalibur and then sought out Luke Webster, the owner of Classic Shaving. After finally connecting with him, we had our initial conversation on Facebook within an hour. I asked for permission to share our conversation publicly ..read more

Shaving With PipeSmoke

Today I'm using the old stand-by PipeSmoke it never fails to impress me with just how amazing this scent is. The lather is just crazy rich and creamy the slickness and glide allow me to be aggressive with the single-edge razor. I can go over trouble spots without fear of irritation. The post-shave feel is always a pleasure. My discussion this week in this video surrounds the Excaliber Vs Enoch are they the same? All signs point to yes so far. I did get the Excalibur order in and quickly looked and the razor head they are similar in appearance but I have not shaved with it yet which I will l ..read more

3D Printed Shaving Bowls & Followup
Wet The Face

I've been focused on 3D printing projects for Wet The Face. We had another surge in sales with our stands that Chuck created. The 7-slot version seems to be the biggest seller right now. I can design elementary things but when it comes to complicated objects well, I turn to Chuck. I was searching for a shaving bowl and came across one that looked like one piece of rope shaped into a small bowl. I thought this just might work let me print it and see. It did a good job of making lather but the soap that did not dissolve was found in the rope texture of the design. Then I came across one that ..read more

The SE Noch Razor Review
Wet The Face
by

Finally, a new razor was released by Occam's Razor Team called SE Noch. I had no idea this was going on until my friend Dan pointed it out to me via email. I just had to order one since it was in my price range. The list price is $195.00 but on sale now for $59.98. I would have NEVER purchased it at the higher price. The packaging has not changed over the years from the Occams Razor line and I had no problems with it. This is a single-edge razor and takes the same blades as the other two razors I have from the Occam's team the original Occams and the N.A.N.O. I happened to use the Feather ..read more

Today, we will look past the shaving creams and soaps and concentrate on hardware. I've done over 480 videos so far with most of our new subscribers having no idea of the past razor reviews I've done. So here is a look back at just some of the ones that I've reviewed. Listed below are searchable videos on my YouTube channel which I've shown in this video. If you want me to use any of them let me know in the comments section and the one that is asked for the most will be the one I use in the future. EShave White Tea
Wet The Face

Today I use one of the better scented shaving creams called White Tea from eShave. If you have never tried an eShave product maybe now would be a good time. eShave was created in 1996 by Danielle Malka 28 years ago. I would consider this a high-end product with a high-end price but in this guy's opinion, it is well worth it. You don't need a lot on the brush to create a great lather, nor do you need to use a brush this shaving cream is good with both methods. I prefer a brush and it handles it with perfection. The leather was amazing, it got right into the beard and provided great coverage ..read more
