WHAT I READ IN APRIL 2024

Kind of a terrible reading month for me in terms of amount. Between traveling, Rory waking up out of the newborn fog, and just life speeding back up, I haven’t had as much time. And I know it’s actually a time thing because I have removed and limited so many distractions on my phone so I know it’s not like I’m scrolling on TikTok for three hours instead of reading I just keep telling myself it’s a season of life… but I do miss being able to sit down and read uninterrupted for an hour. Sometimes it feels like all I’m reading is Paw Patrol books, haha. Here’s what I read in the month of Ap ..read more

NEW NEEDLEPOINT

It’s been a while since I shared good needlepoint finds. I’m currently working on Rory’s stocking and loving it. Though I do miss the quicker satisfaction of smaller projects. Another “problem” is that needlepoint designers keep releasing cuter and cuter things. I cannot stitch fast enough!!! Truly my wish list of canvases (and the accessories) grows by the day. BOW TIED CHERRIES // GOODNIGHT MOON ORNAMENT // MAMA PENNANT HAPPY EVERYTHING // WAGONEER KEY FOB TOY SOLDIER // BOOKMARK // STRIPED SWEATER TREE ORNAMENT // BASKET W/ BERRIES // SANKATY LIGHTHOUSE  More favorites below: Turn ..read more

We’ve had such a nice week here! Agreeable weather meant lots of time outside. (Mike has put in some good work in getting our backyard “ready” for the summer season– so I’m really looking forward to that.) Also, Rory is starting to “wake up” from the newborn stage and I’m at the very end of my fourth trimester, which is a relief all around. Just overall feeling happy and content. Here’s what has been on my radar this week: ONE // Dolls of Our Lives Reflection After fives years, a podcast I absolutely loved is going into retirement! How is it May?! We had a great trip to Florida last month and got a little taste of summer that’s making me so excited for the official kickoff. April was also a great month for Amazon finds, and I have a feeling a handful of these products are going to make it on my favorites list for 2024. Here’s what I bought on Amazon in April: Solar Buddies Sunscreen Applicator // This sunscreen applicator is genius and makes the process so smooth, especially for toddlers who just want to get out there and play. I couldn’t believe how much easier it was to apply, and the cove ..read more

Another post with my outfits from the past week! LAST WEEK’S WIN: Our whole trip to Tampa last week was a win start to finish. We got lucky with two more super easy flights And then we just had so much fun while down there. Lots of fun in the sun! It was absolutely exhausting, in the best way possible. Rory was totally content to just hang out and chill and it was Jack who had the time of his life… whew! We packed in so many fun activities. THIS WEEK’S GOAL: I have a big shoot at our house that I’m excited about and I really want it to go well! It’s much trickier to execute these sorts of ..read more

LED LAMPS AND LAMPSHADES

Rechargeable LED lamps have been taking over the internet and I finally jumped on the bandwagon and I’m so glad I did! These little lamps are fun. I originally purchased a couple for my office space and I ended up loving them so much that I bought another set for my house. Right now I have them in our dining room, but I bought them with the intention of using them for dining al fresco! There are tons of different price points for LED lamps that I’ve seen, I didn’t want to spend a ton and I have to tell you that I’ve been very impressed with the quality of these so far. A pack of two ..read more

I’m writing this from my parents’ kitchen island. Mike is playing in a golf tournament with my dad and my mom and I have been hanging out with the boys during the day. It’s been a lot of fun and very exhausting. (Excitement for Grandma Meesh and Grandpa Philly’s house is at an all-time high!!) It’s been so nice to get a real taste of summer… swimming, basketball outside, loads of sunscreen… and I’m counting down the days until we get the official kick off back home. WILDBIRD AERIAL CARRIER REVIEW

When I was pregnant with my second, I knew I wouldn’t need to buy too many new things. I felt very well prepared equipment-wise and since our kids are 2.5 years apart, my toddler was fully out of the baby stage and, therefore, all of our baby items were totally ready to go for #2. Over the course of my pregnancy, I did make a short list of “upgrades” I wanted to make, mostly out of personal preference and not so much out of necessity. BE SURE TO CHECK OUT MY BABY REGISTRY MUST HAVES. One of the things that I wanted to get was a new baby carrier. I baby wore a bit with my first and loved it, bu ..read more
