Hello friends.  We have a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and Jules would like us to make a coordinating card & tag.  Of course it can be anything goes, as long as it is for a birthday.     For my card I used my new stamp & die set from Pinkfresh Studio called You're the Best.  After die cutting the pretty flowers, I laid them on the Blushing Bride cardstock and the white just popped, so I only added a little color to the centers of the flowers and colored the leaves with Copics.  The Blushing Bride panels are embossed with one of the SU 3D Basic ..read more

Hello friends.  I have an anniversary card to share today.     I used Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms dies cut in cream (flowers & buds) and then sponged them with SU Crisp Cantaloupe ink (ret.) I added rhinestones to the flower centers for a little bling.  The leaves & stems were cut from SU Soft Succulent cardstock.  I mounted them on a cream panel and a Crisp Cantaloupe mat cut with SU Countryside Corners dies.  The sentiment is stamped in SU Soft Succulent.  I mounted this panel with foam tape to a cream panel embossed with Spellbinders ..read more

Hello Friends.  I made another card with the same supplies as my last card with a couple of changes. While I had the Flower Shop stamp set out, I stamped more flowers in Bermuda Bay ink and added them to a panel cut with Concord & 9th Festive Corner die.  I added a panel of Bermuda Bay cardstock under the white cut out panel and then added it to the white card base.  I used some different leaves from a Spellbinders die.  The sentiment is the same but I added it on a slant with foam tape. I will link to Color Hues as I like this color combination and had fun pla ..read more

Hello friends.  I have another birthday card to share today.  I made this one with the colors from Color Hues Challenge - Turquoise & Green, using Tic Tac Toe Challenge 242. I used the right column down on Tic Tac Toe's challenge board - Floral, Embossing & Favorite Color (which is any shade of blue).  I used an older SU Flower Shop stamp & punch set for the pretty blooms which are stamped in Bermuda Bay ink.  I shaped the petals and added a fancy rhinestone to the centers.  The leaves are die cut from two shades of green using an Altenew die and an ..read more

Hello friends.  I have a birthday card to share today.  I made my card for JUGS Challenge -  using the colors from Color Throwdown (Sage, Rose, Burgundy). I chose to copy Carol McFarland on the JUGS DT.  Love her layout with the 4 circles and the sentiment in the center and the white panel with the scallop edges.  I used Taylored Expressions Playful Plaid Background stamp to stamp a white panel in SU Soft Succulent ink (ret.).  I trimmed this panel and mounted it on a white panel cut with MFT Blueprints 27 die for the scallop edges.  For the circles I ..read more

Hello friends.  I have a birthday card to share today.  I made this one for a friend with two challenges in mind - Color Hues (Lilac & Mint) and Just Us Girls (Stencil). I used Altenew Sphere Stencil and SU Purple Posy ink on the white panel for my background.  I then stamped Altenew Mom flower stamp, colored with SU Purple Posy & Mint Macaron Blends, and then die cut with the matching die.  I have had this set for quite some time and this is the first time I have used them.  I will definitely be using them again soon.  The sentiment is from Spellbi ..read more

Hello friends.  It is time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and I chose the "topping" to Use Red as the Main Color.  I thought it was perfect for a February challenge.  I hope you have fun playing in this challenge.   I have a lot of red on my card and of course flowers.  I used Impression Obsession Dotted Argyle background stamp and stamped it in SU Real Red, and then matted it with a Real Red mat.  The pretty blooms are from SU Two-toned Flora which is a 2 step stamp.  I stamped the detail image in Real Red and then for the full image I stam ..read more

Hello friends.  I have a Thank You card to share today.  A friend requested several Thank You cards and Sympathy cards so I will have several to share.   For this card I used SSS Vine Canopy EF and inked the top (flat side) with DOI and then ran it through my machine with white cardstock.  I love the result.  I stamped the sentiment from SU Go To Greetings on a white strip and cut it to fit across the center of the panel.. I will link my card to Can You Handle the Pressure - use an embossing folder   Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wond ..read more

Hello friends.  I have a new anniversary card to share today. I have 6 to make for March. I used a new stamp set SU Enduring Beauty.  I was inspired this card on Pinterest that showed this large image split in half and wanted to give it a try.  I was pleased with the final result. I changed the colors and layout. This bundle has the stamp set, dies and masks (stencils).  I thought about coloring with markers but used the masks with Regal Rose and Granny Apple Green inks and my blending brushes.  I cut the image in  half and mounted them to a white panel emb ..read more

Hello friends.  I am sharing a card I made for a very good friend.  We have been friends since high school and she just started making cards (thanks to me. ?) and she loves it as much as I do.   The flowers are from an older CTMH set that I had borrowed and stamped for quite a while.  I colored them with SU Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green Blends and then cut them with my Scan N Cut as I didn't have the dies.  The lacy circle is a die from SU Encircled In Friendship (ret.) I taped the circle back in after stamping the sentiment from SU Shaded Summer (re ..read more
