Over the past twelve months, since my move to Busselton, my business at Stories My Nana Tells has been virtually suspended. There are no new personalised stories being written, and the existing published books are probably the last of my forays into being a children’s author.
After 10 years, I am taking a new direction – and I will maintain an online presence, but in a new format. So, for the time being, there won’t be much happening here while I work through the changes and streamline the website.

Daffodils
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host of golden daffodils.
Wordsworth made daffodils an icon of the English garden.
Since 1804, William Wordsworth’s poem has echoed this wonderful sight. Nevertheless, the earliest known manuscript of an English garden that includes daffodils was written in 1441.
