Has anyone been snorkeling with Manatees? Are they truly safe? What is the youngest safe age to try? I found this and am considering the trip. https://www.visitflorida.com/travel-ideas/articles/family-travel-snorkel-with-manatees/

Hi! Planning a trip to French Polynesia next year and wondering if anyone have recommendations on which resorts to stay if good snorkeling experience is our priority?
Went to Bora Bora last year, stayed at both InterContinental and were disappointed, not much fishes around their in water villas, attended a snorkeling trip to coral garden but the tour guide didn’t let us swim around so it was mediocre too.
Heard good words from Hilton @ Moorea and it’s on top of our list but wondering if anyone happed to have good recommendations?

I want to snorkel at Dania beach in Fort Lauderdale. My understanding is the artificial reef starts just 200 feet from the beach. So I bought a dive flag that comes with torpedo buoy , see:

Will this be difficult to drag around to the reef without fins? If so, will basic travel snorkeling fins be ok?
I am looking for a snorkeling buddy through various meetup and facebook groups, but does not seem hopeful. Wondering if I should just abandon trying to snorkel alone. Although my gut tells me it should not be dangerous ..

I'm going on a snorkeling your for the first time today in Tahiti. I have a waterproof phone case which I tested with a flat scrubber to see if water seeped through. It didn't. However, I'm still a bit paranoid about my phone getting wet anyway while I take photos underwater. Has anyone had this problem before?

Hi there, I'm Josh from Durban, South Africa.
I've recently gotten into snorkelling and really enjoyed it!
Although...I can't count how many times I've driven out to the beach or secluded coves or rock pools and the conditions have ruined the experience.
Generally its too rough or waves are too choppy. Otherwise the vis can let me down. (It's hard to enjoy the snorkel when you're getting knocked around into rocks or when you can barely see your hand.)
I'd appreciate some direction/correction in terms of what to look for on a forecast to give me the best chances of ideal conditions, or at leas ..read more
