Hello, I’m in a situation where my husband (USC) is not interested in being with me anymore. We’re still trying to work things out but I’m struggling to be optimistic. I’m definitely heartbroken and it’s taken me a long time to accept what is going on. I got my EAD card with travel authorization issued 3/28 but don’t have the GC yet. If we proceeded to get divorced right now, how would this impact my application process? I know the GC may not be issued anymore but does the EAD card get revoked as well?

Hey everyone I have a question and I’m not able to find an answer on this. Gonna talk to my DSO soon but looking for people who’ve had experience with this. Currently working for a company on my OPT, unfortunately it has been unpaid of recent due to budget cuts. I am eligible for STEM OPT but since the company isn’t paying me at the moment it doesn’t align with the STEM OPT guidelines.
I’m job hunting but it’s not looking very promising right now. I was thinking of doing a course that counts for my F1. I was wondering if I can take the higher education course & then apply for my STEM OPT ..read more

So my case was confirmed march 24, 2024 and that same day i requested my travel authorization through CBP , i checked that everything was correct and matched but its been 31 days and i have not gotten anything. The app says it can take 3 weeks but i am way over that . I tried calling USCIS and CBP but they never answer and the waiting time says an hour but last time i spent 5 hours on queue. When my dad was approved he got his ATA in 2 hours and i mistakenly trusted the app and bought the ticket for the first week of may . So im not sure what i should do cause the ticket is not refundable and ..read more

I know I can try to appeal and wait longer and spend money on lawyers. Just not sure i have the emotional strength to continue this after years and years away from family, living in fear, trying to find a way to survive with so many things not allowed, the uncertainty. I moved here at 17 alone as an athlete, it’s been 15 years, it hurts to be denied by somewhere I consider my home.
have any of you been extremely close to giving up and then things turned for the better?

Does anyone know why this happens? I used to be in my mom’s political asylum but I got married and got my green card through my husband . The weird thing is that my mom just got her interview for her political asylum , but I was just a dependent on her asylum because when she applied I was under age now I’m 24 , she applied for her asylum on 2014 and just got her interview for this year, could it be that they are just going to delete me from her case? Or does anyone know?
