FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED To quote Tom Jones, “She’s a Lady.  Well She’s all you’d ever want.  She’s got style, She’s got grace, She’s a winner.” Rainey is a very sweet laid back lady Pittie available with Adopt A Husky of Dallas, Inc.  She was one of the many dogs that came into the Mesquite Shelter over the 4th of July.  The day after the 4th always has the greatest number of intakes for most of the Dallas area shelters as so many dogs are freaked out by the fireworks and run away. Patti & Ted at the barn.   Had a bit of side track today.  My Bugs had acute renal failure, I was not able to take the photos that I wanted.  So I came across some photos from my time visiting my friend Patti’s farm when I lived in upstate New York.  Hence some photos of Patti and her friend at Patti’s farm.  Also  a photo of one of the funny goats at Patti’s farm. Before & After in Black & White

The theme of week 4 is Before and After.  The objective is to show an image straight out of the camera and then show after processing in LR and/or Photoshop.  I chose to take an image of Rosie, my English Cocker Spaniel, and show various ways to convert from a color image to a black & white image. First image is affectionately referred to as SOC, straight out of the camera. It is the raw file without any adjustments. Even if this remained a color image several items would need some work. I participated in the 52 Week Pet Photography Project a couple of years ago.  But life intervened and I wasn’t able to continue.  Finally now I have a bit of free time and am really excited to get back to participating in the group.
