Pre Xmas I sat and thought about some options for a Xmas market, which I had always longed to see and decided pretty much in a couple of moments that I was going to head to Europe and spend a few days. Only problem was, where and how to get there! Long story short I chose Bruges (Shortlist was Cologne and Brussels, along with a couple in France) and drove down with a ferry from Dover to Calais. Recently I have been in the Lake District again, Keswick to be accurate and had the chance to enjoy all that area has to offer. I have Scotland in my blood, quite literally. Not many people will tell you that they are enjoying lockdown but it has to be said, for me personally, I am actually having a lot of fun. One of the main reasons I like to Geocache is the opportunity to visit certain locations where previously I would not normally have ventured. Clare sits not far from its more ‘famous’ cousins of Long Melford and Lavenham in the heart of Suffolk but is equally as beautiful and holds special memories for me as somewhere near to where I grew up.
