I am an alumnus of Jodhpur University with Gold Medal in Solid state Physics in my Post Graduation. I joined Indian Navy in the year 1975 and was awarded with Silver Medal, the Telescope at the Naval Academy and the Sword of Honour for being adjudged the best Naval Officer during initial training. I contribute regularly to defence journals on maritime issues and defence technology.
