Full speed ahead for the great world premiere – the new BMW X4 celebrated its debut at the Geneva Motor Show as befitting for the high powered top model X4 M40d with a sporty trim and the launch of the Flamenco Red varnish colour. Despite the enthusiasm that a 326 PS strong twin turbo diesel sparks, most customers will probably look for a more civilized motorization. So on the second press day in Geneva, the new SUV coupé was presented for the first time as the BMW X4 xDrive30i with 252 PS in Sophisto-gray There are three model variants of the standard motors to choose from: the classic xLin ..read more

Thinking back on the rainy-snowy weather these past weeks, the pleasure of an open cabriolet-tour seems quite unimaginable. To be able to press the electric hood button instead of the same seat heating button again – a dream that only seems possible at the Geneva Motor Show, best of all onboard the gorgeous BMW i8 Roadster. The open-top version of the most unique plug-in hybrid sports car celebrates its Europe-Premiere at the well-tempered – and guaranteed rain-free – BMW exhibition booth. BMW M has a reason to celebrate – and when this is the case, its highly likely that the occasion will be honoured with a special edition instead of just champagne. Accordingly, the sports experts from BMW present the M2 Coupé Edition Dark Shadow in Geneva in order to commend the most recent success of the compact sports car. The M-type base model was sold over 12.000 times in the last year – more than any other model by the M GmbH. In line with its name, the Black Edition shows itself from its darker side: The only coating offered is Saphireblack Metallic, which complements the Special-M2’s e ..read more

Before the big show can begin, caution is to be had. Millimetre by millimetre the uncontested star of the Geneva International Motor Show 2018 rolls out of the closed car transporter. Not a hand’s breath’s distance remains between the wing mirrors and the truck’s walls. A few days before the start of the motor show marks the arrival of the new BMW X G02 at Lake Genenva and we were able to accompany the Munich’s new SUV-Coupé during its last meters in the direction of the spotlight. Dynamic offroaders with a coupésque roofline are a tradition at BMW: precisely ten years have gone by since the ..read more

The empty space seems unusual, a fantastic experience though it needs getting used to. The time when the bustle of visitors and photographers attempting to move from car to car to get the best place to take qualitative pictures is absent. The time when the concentrated silence of the last of the construction work has not yet yielded to the deafening hubbub of everyday Motor Show business. The silence before the storm lays in the air as this is also the time when each aspect becomes more and more perfected –the most wonderful encounter with the BMW motor show booth in Geneva. A day before the ..read more

While its twin brother just completed a snowy road trip through the alps, this motor show star arrived safely to its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show 2018, protected from curious looks in a closed transporter. Finally, the new BMW X4 is displayed in the open, presented from each perspective by strategically placed motor show spotlights. The second generation of the middle-class SUV-Coupé is 81 millimetres longer, 37 millimetres wider and a bit lower than its predecessor. From the bow to the stern the dynamic off roader now measures 4752 millimetres, the wheelbase has increased by 54 to ..read more
