Greetings my friends! Here is the video of House Concert 49 streamed live on Facebook and YouTube on Saturday 27th April. Another fabulous evening – this one was a celebration of Beltane and Spring. The internet connection had some issues for a couple of songs but then I realised that DropBox was backing up a huge file and when I turned that off things settled down. This was a trip to the famous Tarr Steps on Exmoor in Somerset. This is a 3000-year-old Clapper Bridge across a ford on the river Barle. In the summer it is heaving with people picnicking and having fun in the water, in winter it is quiet and mystical. It was a wet day but powerful and beautiful. No music felt needed today. We went to Somerset to have a little break and visit some sacred places. However, the weather, the journey, and various other stuff made us a little bit grumpy today on this visit to Stoney Littleton Long Barrow.
