I’m start to incorporate a demanding leg workout and keep myself firm to doing it, as someone who skipped legs too often. I’m starting because I heard hitting legs boosts testosterone everywhere else and can lead to more gains as a result
Firstly, even if it increases your testosterone, can that actually lead to increased hypertrophy in my upper body? Is there any science behind this claim?
Also, if that claim is true, I also read that the testosterone boost is very short lived. Would I benefit from doing arms with legs, since I’m heavily targeting arms, to benefit from the boost?

Trying to get a bit better at knowing exactly what movements each muscle needs for robust and whole growth. Like how you need more than a hip hinge for hamstrings, you need a leg curl. Or how there’s different heads of the tricep. Anyone got any good videos, etc?
Historically I haven’t thought much about this other than separating upper and middle/lower chest and hitting everything else with whatever just generally targets the muscle.
Thanks! :)

I’ve been cutting for about 7 weeks and for the first 5 weeks I was losing about 2lb a week and now I haven’t lost any weight on the scale for the past 2 weeks. I’ve been eating slightly less than I was the first 5 weeks to account for the weight loss but I’m not losing scale weight. I know for a fact I’m eating in a deficit. I weigh everything I put into my body and there is no way I’m eating too much food to lose weight (eating 1500 cal a day working out 4x a week at 5’9 20 years old, 157.8lb currently) I’m not expecting steady 2lb per week fat loss for 12+ weeks but I still think I should ..read more

I had two inguinal hernia surgeries done in 2018. Both abdomen areas were cut belly button level down to the groin. When I’m trimming down the only thing that shows is a four pack. Any tips or advice on working the bottom abs through scar tissue or am I just going to have to deal with the cards that were dealt?

I have rep ranges I prefer for each muscle and movement and typically do them all the time but I’ve heard some people say it’s better to vary rep ranges throughout the week. Is this true and why?
I always believed it didn’t matter the rep range or varying the rep range, as long as it was between 5-30 and you were going close to failure.

I don't think that too much videos and information around is good, expecially for beginners. Can easily lead to program hopping and mental confusion. When i started in 2013 there were some guys around, but you listened to the information of your favourite influencer and that's it. Maybe it wasnt perfect advice but you sticked to the same thing and you made progress just for the pure consistency. Now expecially with Tik Tok and Instagram you can find 50 guys in a short time , saying different things, just by scrolling your phone.
