2.42) Kris Jenkins DT. Team captain for the national champions. High ceiling DT. Would thrive in DeMeco’s scheme attacking upfield.
2.59) Tyler Nubin S. Highly instinctive leader at safety. All American, 4x academic all conference as well. Jimmie Ward’s long term replacement and could push Pitre to his more natural big nickel role when Ward is healthy.
3.86) Blake Fisher OT. High ceiling swing OT. Has talent to start at either OT position. Will be the RT of the future. First true...

The draft is nearly upon us and it's time to have a simple place to dump out all the players that you just really like. For one reason or another.
Here's mine:
Taliese Fuaga
My favourite tackle in the class. Incredibly powerful, he bullies the bullies. I almost feel like he gets underrated because he gets called a "run blocker" because he absolutely destroys people in the run game but it carries a stigmatism that he's therefore not a great pass protector. He is. He bring an all around...

I think you could make a pretty strong case that it was. Honestly to a man, this was the best team we ever beat, it was a straight up win, they weren't resting their starters, they weren't sick with the flu, they were healthy and playing to win and we took them down(for the first time after going 0-9 against them since we started in 2002). This was Peyton Manning and the 2006 NFL Champions, winners of Super Bowl XLI. Kubiak took them down with Ron Dayne and David Carr. The full game is on...

Now that the dust has settled and with less than a week til the draft, these are my six players I reckon the Texans target in the draft:-
Edgerrin Cooper LB
Javon Bullard S/DB
Michael Hall Jr. DL
Matt Goncalves OT
Isaac Guerendo RB
Jaylin Simpson S/DB
It gets too muddy past this point to feel confident about predicting.
You can post your own six.
Please, join in the fun guys and gals.
Let's see who can win some bragging rights - there is plenty of spirited discussion re picks in...

I've been thinking about alternative ways to approach the draft (as opposed to upgrading our defense with DT, CB, S as our top needs,) and I've considered us going all-in on the running game. One of the Texans flaws last year, was the inability to close out games, hence so many last-second game-deciding FGs (that I'm getting too old to enjoy.)
If we're able to trade up into the last part of the first-round to get C JPJ (whose played dominantly in the zone offense at times.) Follow that up...
