The 2024 NFL draft is exactly a week away and, yes we know, you are weary of mock drafts, but let us hit you with one more — a seven-round mock from the folks at Pro Football Focus. In this mock, the New York Giants do not make any moves — up or back — pass on a quarterback and select who many believe could be the best player in this draft class in LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers with the sixth overall pick in Round 1. Nabers’ movement skills are rare, even at the NFL level. His ability to change direction yet continue to accelerate makes him an open-target specialist in the slot and on the ou ..read more

The Miami Dolphins have officially announced the signing of former New York Giants linebacker Cam Brown. Brown, 26, was a sixth-round pick of the Giants in the 2020 NFL draft out of Penn State. He appeared in 60 games for the team, recording 35 tackles (24 solo), three QB hits and two forced fumbles. Much of Brown’s production came on special teams, consistently drawing praise from the coaching staff. However, after the firing of special teams coordinator Thomas McGaughey on Black Monday, Brown knew his time in East Rutherford was up. It’s been interesting… Catch Y’all on the flip side ! #4pi ..read more

But currently, he remains at home following a divorce from the New En ..read more

Giants Wire
by John Fennelly

The New York Giants are still in the process of finding the right mix along their offensive line. They have just two known anchors at the moment — center John Michael Schmitz and All-Pro left tackle Andrew Thomas. Thomas has been one of the best at his position in the NFL the past few seasons. That is when he’s been healthy. He missed seven games last year with a hamstring strain. This week, as the Giants began their voluntary workout sessions at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center in East Rutherford, Thomas was asked by reporters what it would mean to him to stay healthy and play every game ..read more

NFL owners officially voted to ban the hip-drop tackle in March, hoping to make the game safer. However, the added rule change will dramatically impact how defenders approach tackling and it won’t necessarily be an easy transition. New York Giants linebacker Bobby Okereke expects an “acclimation period” as players attempt to learn a new way of tackling, which is contrary to how they’ve been coached in the past. “It’s definitely another thing for us to be aware of as defenders. You know, it’s tough,” Okereke told reporters on Monday. “They tell you, run your feet on tackles so you can run throu ..read more
