Bo Nix began his pro career at Auburn but then switched to Oregon, where he flourished and saw some incredible growth. Nix was recognized as the Pac-12 Conference Offensive Player of the Year and was voted Third-team All-American by the Associated Press. In addition to placing third in Heisman Trophy voting, he was named the William V. Campbell Trophy, often known as the “Academic Heisman.” Those accomplishments weren’t enough to get Nix a spot on the national championship team, but he came close to winning the Davey O’Brien and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Awards, respectively, as the best quarte ..read more

The Titans have made many changes this offseason in hopes for the better. For starters, they hired Brian Callahan, who was the Cincinnati Bengals’ offensive coordinator over the last five seasons, as their head coach. Callahan has a history of working with some excellent quarterbacks, including Peyton Manning and Joe Burrow. The Titans also signed Calvin Ridley to a four-year $92M deal. The wide receiver position was in dire need of assistance. The trio of DeAndre Hopkins, Treylon Burks, and Ridley now emerge as the Titans’ top pass-catchers. Brian Callahan will identify matchups they can expl ..read more

The Carolina Panthers seem to be following a specific theme this offseason: bringing back players who have a connection to the region. Two such players are Jadeveon Clowney and D.J. Wonnum, alumni of South Carolina and hail from the area. While Clowney grew up in Rock Hill, SC, Wonnum is from Stone Mountain, Georgia, only a few hours’ drive away. Stephon Gilmore, another former Gamecock and Rock Hill native could join the Panthers soon. Reports suggest that the team is interested in bringing him back home, while Clowney is keen to link up with him. However, the question remains whether this mo ..read more

Critics claimed this was foolish, while others praised the Texans for grabbing a player that was considered to be the best non-quarterback in the class. The end result was the selection of the NFL offensive and defensive rookies of the year. Stroud completed 63.9% of his passes for 4,108 pass yards and 23 ..read more
