Last season the Cincinnati Bengals finally started with their franchise quarterback to show they could hang with just about anyone in the National Football League. Burrow was running away with the offensive rookie of the year when he was injured, tearing both his ACL and MCL as well as damaging his PCL and meniscus. Cincy’s season was basically over at that point, but the future starting they hope in 2021, is looking bright. Play in the Queen City was just so much better, and now if they can all get healthy and contribute there’s no question they will have a better 2021 than 2020. That starts ..read more

With the first round of the NFL Draft eight days away, director of player personnel Duke Tobin indicated the Bengals know “the universe” of players from which they’ll select with that first pick, Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com reports. But during his Wednesday news conference via Zoom, Tobin wouldn’t say how big that planet is or who populates it. Most draft nicks are saying it is peopled (in alphabetical order) by LSU wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, Florida tight end Kyle Pitts and Oregon left tackle Penei Sewell. Joe Burrow has said he’s not lobbying for his old long-ball partner Chase in Baton R ..read more

The Bengals Tuesday announced they have waived defensive end Takk McKinley because of a failed physical, just six days after the club inked the former 2017 first-round pick. Bengals coach Zac Taylor said on Monday that McKinley was participating in virtual meetings. It sounded from the coaches point of view that the club was pumped to have him on the roster to add to the pass rush, one that didn’t have any impact on the Steelers in their 36-10 loss on Sunday afternoon in Pittsburgh. “Now, we can actually get him in the building and get a chance to know him and integrated him into the scheme a ..read more

There’s been plenty of positives this season for rookie QB Joe Burrow and the Bengals, let’s just say that Sunday in Pittsburgh wasn’t one of them. The team was beatdown by an undefeated Steelers team that simply outplayed them in just about every area, winning the turnover battle along with just being more physical in just about every facet. Now sitting at 2-6-1, the Bengals will have to erase the memory of Sunday’s beatdown, and get ready for the Washington Football Team on the road Sunday at 1pm at FedEx Field. Here’s some thoughts on the 36-10 loss to the Steelers in Pittsburgh. 1. A Roug ..read more
