The Buffalo Bills came into the 2024 NFL Draft with 10 selections, and after general manager Brandon Beane traded back twice in the first round Thursday night, the Bills still have 10 draft picks.
Buffalo certainly did improve their draft capital, adding a third-round pick and maneuvering around the draft board, but many fans are a little frustrated that Buffalo didn’t add a wide receiver on opening night.

As of right now, Buffalo has the following picks (as shared by Chris Brown):
Round 2: 33 (from Panthers), 60
Round 3: 95 (from Chiefs)
Round 4: 128

After trading down from 28 to 32, the Bills chose to exit Round 1 without making a pick
Holding the final draft pick in Round 1 of the 2024 NFL Draft after a trade down with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Buffalo Bills again chose to trade away their selection.
This time, with the clock approaching midnight, it was the Carolina Panther who Buffalo found as a willing trade partner. With Buffalo’s once new, and now-former pick at 32, the Panthers selected wide receiver Xavier Legette.

The pick isn’t in... yet
After a wait of almost three an a half hours, the Buffalo Bills were finally on the clock at pick 28. And with that opportunity, Buffalo’s front office made the decision to trade back, coming to a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs of all teams.
The trade nets the Buffalo Bills the following:
The picks:
-- No. 28, 133, 248 to KC
-- No. 32, 95 and 221 to BUF
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 26, 2024
Per the Rich Hill trade value chart, the trade is nearly even:
Bills get: 32 (184 pts), 95 (40 pts), 221 (2pts) = 226

The results are in, Bills Mafia! Yesterday we asked you to weigh in about the Buffalo Bills’ proceedings this evening. Should Buffalo’s decision makers stay put at 28, trade up, or move back into Round 2?

Does the Buffalo Bills’ time commitment in this year’s prospects suggest anything about their draft desires?
I’ve been doing this long enough where I think I can cut to the chase with the premise. Despite vast amounts of wealth, all humans are equal when it comes to the resource of time. Not even Bruce Wayne or Tony Stark are rich enough to get more of that. Wait. Scratch that last one. Though his time travel did come with complications.
Anyway, teams like the Buffalo Bills only have so much time to allocate meeting with possible draft picks ..read more
