Hey guys. I’m looking to buy a downhill bike. And I found a guy who bought around 10 demo bikes from Whistler at a private auction. On the frame is written “DNR HTC” does anyone know what this means? Since there is a big X right next to it I’m thinking it might mean. “Do Not Ride, Has Triangle Crack” I’m not sure tho, which is why I made this post lol. And the guy doesn’t know what it means either. Has anyone here bought a ex demo bike? Is it a bad idea to buy one? Please help lol. Will be much appreciated. NFBD a couple days ago! Stock build so far except I got SRAM Mavens instead. I still need a rear Maven. Supply issues... I get in a couple weeks. Been riding Specialized Enduros since 2016, so the feel of the VPP is a pretty distinct difference from the FSR I'm used to.
