Hey so just for context I’m in grade 11 and attending a high school in Canada (Ontario specifically). I currently have 22 credits however I still need 9 extra curriculars… I was hoping to graduate a semester early as I already have my 4U English, 4U adv.functions, 4U chem, and 4U bio. Do you think I would still be able to graduate early as I’ll have 30+ credits just not my required amount in extracurriculars. I took a spare last semester, I have one this semester and I’ve taken night school once and summer school twice (3 times if you count this coming summer)… Let me know if anymore info is ..read more

HELP??
Highschool - Reddit

So there’s this kid that goes to a few of my classes, and I’m slightly concerned about his mental state. He’s pretty quite, and acts pretty normal, but the weird stuff started when we had a project in Media Arts about stop Motion. He worked by himself, but whenever I passed him I noticed his film looked odd… from what I could tell, it was a person made of clay removing their intestines orally, in a public bathroom. Also, recently, when the class isn’t paying attention, I’ve caught glances of him digging into and eating the contents of a wound on his arm. What the hell? Then earlier today he w ..read more

As the pic shows, the two gpas at the bottom are our of the traditional 4 point scale, but for the life of me I don't understand how to look at my weighted 100 PT scale grade, it doesn't correspond with the 4 point scale, and I'm not even sure what it's out of, since, doesn't weighted gpas go up to 5? Is that somewhat the same with the 100 PT system?? submitted by /u/Plasma_Ware_9795 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

im a burnt out freshman and i dont know what to do with myself anymore. im in all honors and ap classes and that literally just feels like what my life is right now; constant school work and just trying to get through each day. i'd say i have a good amount of friends yet none of them ever hang out with me, no invites or anything. nobody really ever talks to me one-on-one anymore either (except for maybe a shared tiktok every few days) and its just so boring!!! i have nowhere to go, nobody to talk to, no motivation to keep up with my work, its so depressing. i don't think i can take 3 more yea ..read more

GPA Help

I don't know what gpa scale my highschool is. Apparently we use the SC UGP Scale, and the highest theoretically possible GPA is a 6.0, but it's impossible as you would need a 100 on every class yout ake and every class you take woud be AP classes. A 5.0+ is considered very good. So what is this GPA Scale? submitted by /u/Me_Weeb_ [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
