Hi Everyone! It's time for a cliché New Year’s Post! No, but really. I am not a big fan of New Year’s but I have always been a fan of goal setting and I like that entering a new year gives you the feeling of wiping the slate clean, like you have a fresh whiteboard waiting to be written on! Although this blog has seen some major neglect in the past year, safe to say I was kicking goals in some other areas. And today I'm back and sharing my plans with you for 2020! 1. Improve finances + start saving for a house This is a major one for me this year. I have typically always been quite b ..read more

Is there ever a better fashion accessory than a good pair or sunglasses? I'm pretty picky with my sunglasses, but I'm also conscious of not spending an arm and a leg! Today I thought it would be fun to share my favourite affordable sunglasses brand with you, including my go-to styles! At the moment, I have two favourite Quay Australia sunglasses styles: Quay Zeus in Black/Smoke $65 AUD (Buy them here) These sunglasses are a super oversized fit, but suit any look! They have matte black frames and smokey lenses. They do tend to get dirty easily with makeup, but I honestly don't mind ..read more

So this post was a long time coming! I am so sorry I haven't offered all of you a reasonable explanation for my absence from this little part of cyberspace. To be completely honest, I chose to prioritise my mental and physical health over struggling to compile a half-assed blog post I wasn't yet ready to write. I just wanted to say that I am definitely not planning on quitting my blog, however as a full-time worker and currently doing full time study, I have found this year to be the most difficult one I have ever had in terms of keeping any sort of decent blog schedule. For that, I am tru ..read more

Hello party people! Welcome to one of my most highly requested posts, ever! As many of you know I have recently begun my journey to transitioning to cruelty-free beauty. The decision to go cruelty-free brought with it an instant desire to both declutter, as well as take all the items out of my collection that weren't cruelty-free to sell, donate, give away, or bin if they were quite old. Everyone goes about this differently but I just figured that if I was going to be serious about the change, I would like to start discovering products already within my collection that were cruelty-free and ..read more

Today's post is something a little different for you all. I decided I wanted to create a little tutorial for a simple everyday look that is office friendly. If any of you are like me and work in an office, it's hard to know how to look glam without feeling like you are overdoing it, and also wanting to wear some makeup so you aren't bare-faced. I think I have found a happy medium so I thought I would share some of my everyday essentials over the past month or so. I hope you enjoy this post! It has been a while since I've done a tutorial but you can find some more here. This look is su ..read more

Wow! I didn't realise how long it was since I last did an empties post, but by the look of the overflowing basket I had in my beauty room, I knew it had been a hot minute! You can read my last empties post here. Usually for these posts, I give you a brief description of each product and whether or not I would purchase it again. For this post it will be super brief since I have so many products to get through!!! Please keep in mind most of these empties are from before my cruelty-free transition so a lot of the brands are unfortunately not cruelty-free and therefore I won't be repurchasing ..read more
