I want to invest in google, tesla, Microsoft etc. They don't pay dividends so if i put them in TFSA then the gain would be tax free and no 15% withholding tax them. But if i put them in RRSP, then i have pay tax when i sell them as capital gain. So, is it safe to say US stocks in TFSA and US ETF in RRSP?

Hi guys, i’m just curious as to how the new capital gains tax rules would affect individuals who daytrade. Would the government classify it as income and tax it at 50% or would the 67% capital gains take precedence?
