WE DID IT! Two months ago, we set ourselves a target, of keeping our family together this holiday season. We knew with everything going on in the world that it was not going to be an easy task. We are delighted that we (nearly) reached our target, raising an incredible $38,282. We are absolutely amazed at the support we have received from across the globe. When the Butterfly Home was opened in 2010, the greatest need was to care for children born with life threatening conditions, most of whom were at end of life in the orphanage. Now in 2020, things are looking very different. Provision and access to good health and social care services in China is improving all the time. Standards, skills and knowledge of health and social care professionals are also improving.
