Hands down though, the biggest plus to having a McDonalds party, is being able to WALK AWAY at the end. No cleaning up. Gotta love that. I mean yeah, w ..read more

The Intrepid explorer 2020 has already been a heck of a year. We had catastrophic bushfires, my mother passed away, and covid-19 hit. And that was just by March. Needless to say, this year has really driven home how short life is, how it can be taken from you at any moment, and how much more of my family I want. We had considered homeschooling our youngest son on and off for a while, but with the sudden apocalypse, we like many of you, were forced to school at home.  After the initial panic, I relaxed into having my youngest home, and ALL that entailed (Our eldest son has severe special n ..read more

We still had some patches on the wall to paint behind the unit, and some frames to put around the powerpoints, but she’s sooo preeeetty! COLOUR MILL COLOURS PROVIDED BY COLOUR MILL FOR REVIEW My picks for MUST HAVE colours! If you’ve ever (tried) to colour Swiss Meringue, or chocolate, you’ll know its a frustrating process with gel colours. That’s where oil based colours come in! Instead of being water based (like gel colours), oil based colours blend more easily with oily foods like Buttercream, meringue, Royal Icing, and chocolate. This means less colour used, for colour gained. The folks at Colour Mill gave me their new range of Oil based colours to try, so yay first off, but also I was super stoked to try an AUSTRALIAN ma ..read more
