The draft finished up tonight on Raw and I must say there are some big name free agents out there still. It will be very interesting to see what brand they pick. As for the rest of the show, we got to see some fresh new matches, title matches and very good promos. I think the brand split and draft is a great thing especially since the superstars are exclusive to their brand and there is no jumping from show to show. The Raw after a controversial Hell in a Cell PPV was well done. They didn’t really address the main event match but they put on some great matches with a few good promos. Not having Seth Rollins or Bray Wyatt on the show at all is a huge fail in my opinion. Ending it with Tyson Fury and Braun Strowman was an even bigger fail though. The Wednesday Night War is officially underway. NXT is going head to head with AEW and this is the best for business as Triple H would say. This is the first time in nearly 20 years that the TNT Network has had a professional wrestling program on live TV. All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Dynamite is here to stay! This first show really set the bar for AEW and pro wrestling in my opinion. We got to hear commentary from Excalibur, Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone and they did a fantastic job all night. Tonight SmackDown was on the USA Network for the last time. SmackDown moves to Fox and Friday nights now. This wasn’t the best show I have seen but it wasn’t the worst.
