Students that read 5,000 pages this semester were rewarded with a Journey Ice snow cone.

On May 1st, the KISD Junior Highs held the first annual Katy Book Wars district competition.
It was a tough battle and our Tays Titans did great!
We also had a celebration party for all students that participated in the campus competition.

The library is sponsoring a trivia contest in honor of National Library Week.
Students may enter the contest one time and winners will be announced Monday, April 16th.

Winners will have their bookmarks printed for all of the students to use at TJH!
Theme of the bookmarks must be related to reading and books.
Four winners will be chosen by our fabulous art teachers. Entries must be submitted by April 10th.

On March 20th, TJH had its very first campus competition for Katy Book Wars. There were six teams that competed and one final winner. The winning team consists of 8th graders Abhinav Tiruveedhula, Gauravaram Ganesh Sudhakar, Soha Jashwant, Sanjay Senthilvelan, and Brandon Lee. This winning team will compete at Legacy Stadium on May 1st against other winning teams in the district ..read more
