Dear Penn Manor Families, On May 24, Penn Manor School District’s food supplier, Feeser’s Food Distributors, notified the district that Jif peanut butter products included in a voluntary recall were among several food shipments sent to our schools. Penn Manor has taken steps to identify and destroy all products associated with the recall; however, some of the peanut butter was served at our cafeterias over the past several weeks, prior to the recall being issued on May 20. Marticville Middle School was placed on modified lockdown shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, after state police notified the school that there was police activity in the vicinity.
