I just purchased a 83/45 from a Smith with a schlage keyway, I asked him to set it up as a 6 pin but it seems he forgot to put in the driver pin, spring and cover to convert it to a 6 pin. :-/ I want to swap out the core with a medeco original or biaxial SFIC or KiK core for the heck of it. Which would be my best route? I imagine I could just purchase a SFIC and pop it in....would I need a specific adapter? I know for the kiK I would need the adapter pack. Okay so to keep it short, we got a new home recently and we are busy with painting and stuff, but today a person who has the key of the building tried to enter via the porch to the back yard (all locks use the same keys), and it didn't work he said (while it's all brand new lock ect, it's a brand new home), and he walked around and he used it on the front door, which I've used a couple hours before and nothing is wrong with it then, now if you put the key in the outside of the front door or the outside of the porch door, the key won't budge, but front the inside of the porch it works and the ..read more

We currently use DL Windows on a single computer manually updating locks with DTM. I would like to upgrade from 4.1.96 to 5.5.4 on the same computer. Do I install the 5.5.4 and SQLExpress2022 and set up 5.5.4 as a NEW installation and then import my 4.1.96 database useing the DL 5 Upgrade Utility?
