Mexico has many coastal cities. Colombia and Venezuela have many coastal cities. The Caribbean has a ton of coastal cities. Yet Guatemala City, San Salvador, Managua, Tegucigalpa, San Pedro Sula, and San Jose among others are all inland. Panama City is on the Pacific coast, but heading north from it you don't reach another big coastal city until Acapulco. Meanwhile on the Atlantic coast the only cities of note between Cancun and Colombia is La Ceiba, Honduras (and Belize City, which isn't actually that big at all but is noteworthy for being the biggest city in Belize). It’s called Huaytunas Lake (the blue lake in the middle), with an area of 329 sq km (127 sq mi), located in the Moxos plains of the Bolivian Amazon. The question is not counting lakes that are created through dams.
