Hi all! I hope you don't mind me asking what might seem like a slightly odd question but I'm doing some research around the autopsy report of a young man who died by intraoral shotgun wound. The autopsy report describes quite profound brain damage, lacerations, haemorrhage etc. as would be expected but also describes the brain as being necrotic. Hoping to hear some stories about mistakes people have made in pathology and then their life “went on”….for lack of a better phrase.
