Can you recommend any games that are similar to Distilled? I like the idea of buying resources, recipes, crafting,, and selling mixed into one. Thanks!

Hey ya'll, just put up my first game on kickstarter and the launch is going pretty well. Wondering if anyone had any tips for gaining visibility for small indie designers. If you have backed crowdfunding, what do you look for? And if you've had successful launches how did you do it? Here's the link for our game if you're interested.

if u grab two from the deck, do u have to discard one b4 playing a pair of boats, or by playing them, u mitigate that rule by grabbing one from the discard pile?

Hi everyone
Just wondering what people think board gaming looks like in 5-10 years from now?
More app based/hybrid games? New mechanics? The continuation of massive bloated kickstarters? Or will everyone just still be playing brass Birmingham
Just a general question, all theories appreciated!

Hi
Needing a specific suggestion. My wife's friend son loves playing chess. He's 8 year old but hasn't really got anyone to play with. My wife has asked if I know of any games I could suggest for the family to play.
I originally thought of either Hice or Santorini? Anything else?

I have a friend who loves to try and play board games with my group but they are legally blind (in a way glasses cannot correct) and strategic war games have been somewhat off the table for them. They love playing games with us but I feel they are a lot more isolated when we play competitive games as opposed to role playing/story based games.
My idea is to mount a camera to the ceiling that streams the game to a tablet my friend can control so they can zoom in wherever they want on the board as they please. I noticed a lot of you-tubers have camera setups like what I need but idk what they us ..read more
