A Book of TRUST In Comes to Print, a 2022-2023 Chunk of Amazing Photography, out of several long terms project with No Ending!  Brice’s first archival book represents much more than a simple compilation of images. This period, from February 2022 to July 2023, was marked by the consolidation of strong photographic series, which became the basis of long-term work. Though An “Archive” I interpret it as a Book Of Trust. Trust of Folks in Rough Neighbourhoods, Gang Members, Mafia….. et al & Trust in Himself to undertake such a life revolving yet volatile project.  Copyright ⓒ B ..read more

Daniel Sackheim: Street Photography Anchored On The Art Of Observation
Street Photography
by Joy Celine Asto

There is drama in the everyday and a poignant story to tell even in the most mundane scenes. However, it often takes a trained eye and a taste for profound narratives to pluck it out of the humdrum of daily life. Emmy Award-winning film & television director and producer Daniel Sackheim ticks both with his emotive and minimalist approach to street photography. Tapping into his affinity for storytelling, he captures scenes in and out of the streets with a distinctly cinematic flavor. Los Angeles-based Sackheim, a husband and father of two who also co-manages a production company, also devot ..read more

Alexandra Avlonitis. I LOVE Alexandra’s Street Photography! Alexandra, a native New Yorker, has accomplished a hell of a lot as a Street Photographer since her transition from Fine Art Painter to a Photographer. I have always disagreed & Challenged anyone who thinks that “Anything” Shot on the streets, is “Street Photography”! Making sense out of The Chaos & Life on the streets, doesn’t happen by accidents or random shooting! Copyright ⓒ Alexandra Avlonitis Copyright ⓒ Alexandra Avlonitis I asked Alexandra about her thoughts & actions on creating or rather capturing her ..read more

The Leica Q3 & Street Photography

The Leica Q3 & Street Photography  My god how I agonised as I ummed and ahhed over how to say this; what on earth would people say. Should I pull my punches, or give just it to you straight? But enough of this torture. Let’s just cut to the chase. I believe this to be the best camera for Street Photography ever made. Quite frankly, it is a masterpiece, yet I’m not quite sure why I was so scared of saying that. Perhaps it’s a fear of being dammed for pinning my Leica colours so firmly to the mast. Come on, a Leica with autofocus! If you don’t get breathless you ..read more

Anthimos Ntagkas: Capturing Humor in the Streets
Street Photography
by Joy Celine Asto
5M ago
There is humour everywhere and in everything, but it takes a keen observation to notice it out in the streets. For many street photographers, it’s one of the things to keep an eye out for. The scenes will compel you to look closer and the story — either implied or made up — will entertain without fail. Capturing humor in street photography is easy to aspire but often laborious to achieve. To make it your photography work’s focus the way Anthimos Ntagkas does, therefore, is admirable. With a quick look at his Street Photography, one can’t help but snigger at the perfectly-timed, impeccably-comp ..read more

When I first saw a “single” image by Ann LT (Ann Luu-Trong) I was immediately intrigued & drawn to see more,  and when I saw more, I was curious to learn more “About” Ann & her Street Photography. What I could have written about Ann’s Photography, is summed up by a “Diane Arbus” quotation on Ann’s own “About” page: “A picture is a secret about a secret. The more it tells you, the less you know.” The Mysteries, The Secrets, The Stories We See, The Stories We Imagine, The Stories That we want them to be true, Imagination & Reality, All in a Fraction of observation, captured. And ..read more
