Hi there, I’m 30 years old, and have some dark/raised acne scars and a single clogged pore that has not gone away for years. I’m going to Seoul for a week in July - may I know if yall have experienced effective facial treatments (and where) that even out texture and skin tone? Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/yellowtulips7 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Skincare routine to help with dehydrated/dry inflammatory acne prone skin?

Hi! I (27F) am in Seoul right now. I went to a derm clinic and they told me my skin type was dehydrated inflamed acne prone skin. She wouldn’t give me a recommended skincare routine/products though only treatments. She expelled some of my active acne and injected steroids into the deep ones to help with inflammation and I opted in for 2 exosome treatments. I wondering if anyone has this skin type and what are some product recs that I can buy to bring home and help my acne hyperpigmentation/scars and help fix my skin so that the acne is less? Any Recs are appreciated, TIA! submitted by /u/Hel ..read more

Microneedling serum/ampoule for Pore size

Hi, I’m a long time k-beauty enthusiast and recently I’ve been doing home microneedling with a skin pen for my large pores on my cheeks. I took a course on how to do it safely so I feel ok about it and I’m getting decent results. I’m looking for a k-beauty serum or ampoule for microneedling that will enhance these pore shrinking results. Also I’m looking for one that may help with fine lines but that’s a secondary concern for me. If it’s available on Amazon, even better! submitted by /u/RoofRevolutionary194 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I’ve(22F) recently moved to Seoul for 3 months. My skin started developing acne since I moved here(it’s been approx a week). Please suggest some skin care products I can try here. I had acne issues earlier but it has come down in the last 2-3 years. Thanks in advance:) submitted by /u/Popular-Repair-7816 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Looking for: Water based cleanser for combination/sensitive skin

Hi, I am looking for any recommendations for a water based cleanser. I have combo/ sensitive skin, oily t zone, dry u zone/everywhere else. I struggle with very present sebaceous filaments in my nose and the crease of my nose, so something that minimizes them.I have broken out from the oil cleansers i've tried(manyo, anua, cantella), but if you have an option for an oil cleanser that is very sensitive, I would be open for consideration. Also, no fragrance please. Anything helps, thanks! submitted by /u/Nitr0daKng [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hey ?? I searched the hole morning for a solution for hyperpigmentation…. I think in my case it’s a mix between aging and sun damage. There are so many products that I don’t know really what to buy ?. Snail, bee, vitamin c… ? I’ve found (for example): AXIS-Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum and - - ANUA Niacinamide 10% + TXA 4% dark spot serum. Have got a recommendation for me? I need to use it for spots and not overall my face. Thank you in advance! submitted by /u/NikitaRu_ [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

How often can you go to a skin clinic in KR?

Hi all! I'll be in Korea for two weeks in May and am looking to go for some treatments. Do you think it's possible to do one at the start of the trip and then another one at the end? So there's kind of two weeks in between treatments. Not sure if that would be bad for my skin haha. For more context, my skin got really bad in March and I had a lot of acne, which is finally clearing up. I'm looking to do facials and laser treatments probably (not done researching yet and am welcome to suggestions!). submitted by /u/alwayshellaconfused [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
