Pretty frequently in this subreddit we get questions asking for case recommendations. We've decided to make this a recurring post so that there will be a dedicated place to highlight and discuss cases that don't get posted about that often. People want to know... what is a case that is important to you or that stuck with you and that you think others should know about? What are some cases that need more attention? What are your pet cases besides the well known cases that get posted about frequently? Or just post your true crime guilty pleasures. Anyway, use this thread to bring attention ..read more

A seemingly normal day with normal plans that did not include, at any point, a resident coming into my office uttering the words: “I think my relative may have been murdered by the Boston Strangler.” Insert record scratch noise. Let’s back up a bit. This particular man is a long-time resident and just a gem of a human. A little quirky, but quirky in the best way. Someone who wants to know the ..read more

Hello, I think I found a subreddit divulging Sanda Dia’s killers’ names, but I don’t speak dutch so I’m not entirely sure what I’m reading. Anyone who speaks the language care to translate? These are just some of the posts on there, you can check the rest out for yourself. I’m interested to know if this is trustworthy at all submitted by /u/Salt_Collection5701 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

https://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ Yesterday, I learned about this archive from the United Kingdom. I'm sure most know about the site but some may not. I was able to get information and get photographs. Ian Brady and Myra Hendley and Jack the Ripper. Jack the Ripper was informative and many more! I've always heard that Scotland Yard had received like 300 letters or more. Yhe National Archive have so many images of the letters, all original. I just wanted to leave this information with you and most of you probably already know about the website. But anyone who doesn't should check it out. Al ..read more
