The Sheetz convenience store chain has been hit with a lawsuit by federal officials who allege the company discriminated against minority job applicants. A Gallup survey last year found that 92% of Republicans and 58% of Democrats thought crime was increasing. According to police, officers were called at about 4:45 a.m. Monday to a residence off Granger Road and Long Avenue after the homeowner called 911 to report a burglary in progress. Police say Mitchell was found inside, arrested and booked into Becker County Jail. According to the criminal complaint, the home Mitchell is accused of burgling was her stepmother’s.
