*Paid partnership with FOREO Skincare has been the most relaxing and comforting routine since I have all the time at home while my flight schedule stays empty. I’ve implemented a few new steps into my skincare routine and my shelf with beauty products and devices had to be replaced to a bigger one. And so it happened, that one day the FOREO BEAR found its way to my home in Munich. Welcome aboard dear BEAR! The FOREO BEAR is a microcurrent therapy device that sends microcurrents of electricity to the skin to subtly lift and firm the skin within minutes. * Paid partnership with FOREO My skincare routine has significantly changed since the lockdown back in April. My roster stayed empty with only two flights in the past eight months. Even though I was sad to be grounded at home, I gained something that I was always chasing after. T-i-m-e! And I invested this time in my skincare routine what finally felt like a routine. Daily skincare steps to improve my skin as well as my overall well-being. The most fun part were the beauty devices that I added to my morning and evening routine and my skin has never been better! One of them is the UFO 2 by For ..read more

Lisbon Travel Guide 2020

It was time for a change of scenery after being in lockdown for more than three months. It felt like forever when you consider that I’ve been flying for 20 years straight as a full-time flight attendant. I missed flying. And I missed sunsets at the beach so badly that it hurt. Turn on your JavaScript to view content At the beginning of June, European countries like Portugal, Italy, Spain or France slowly started to reopen their borders for travelers. I was not the first one to travel, but the longer I thought about a getaway, the more I got itchy feet to be on the road again. So how did I co ..read more

The past couple one weeks have been incredible heavy, especially for the Black community. It’s time to speak up. It’s time to wake up and do the work to destroy systematic racism that has been falsely lingering in our culture for too many years. I’ve talked about racism in my stories before and will not stop to raise my voice. 2020 is a year of changes. We’ve been already through a lot. Giving up is not an option. You’ve heard this before, but we are all in this together. You are doing mighty fine! Let me tell you that you are blessed, loved and very appreciated. :) A lot has changed since Co ..read more

Super easy five-ingredient vegan cheesecake
The Classy Cloud

All we need is cake. Cake and love. And I found a vegan cheesecake recipe that comes so close to a real classic cheesecake. No cashews nuts, no tofu needed. And only five ingredients which you can easily cut down to the basic three if you are a minimalist. :) I’ve baked this cheesecake several times to adapt the recipe to my liking and reduced the amount of sugar as I always do. The original recipe is from Bake to the roots. The center of the plain cheesecake turned out to be so creamy. It is dense, rich, and light at the same time. You will get so addicted to this cheesecake! • The basic r ..read more

*Paid partnership with Invisalign #smilesquad It’s been already 10 months since I started my smile journey with Invisalign and I shared two blogposts about my experiences(part 1 and part 2) so far. This is my third and last blogpost where I will talk about my fave topic and sharing my hacks with you. How to travel with Invisalign! Crewlife | I didn’t feel any restrictions when I worked on board wearing my Invisalign. In fact, it saved me from snacking too often which I usually do when I work in business class. Almonds here, tomato juice there. Nope. Not with Invisalign. Even if you take t ..read more

Sunny greetings from Bali! This article was highly requested by you and I’m sharing this blogpost from the perspective of a solo female traveler. Here are the five reasons why I love Bali so much. 1. Bali is affordable for solo traveler Believe me, I’ve been to several places all over the world for vacation. And I have my standards and basics that need to be covered. I know that I’m totally pampered by my job as a flight attendant, but I’m also in my forties where I need a certain level of comfort and luxuriousness to escape from the hectic daily life and get some much needed R&R. 2019 was a whirlwind of changes and celebrations in many ways. On third of October I had my 20th work anniversary(blogpost here), celebrated my 44th birthday(blogpost here) in the same month, followed by the next celebration(read here) as my blog turned five on first of November. It was a year of celebrations and I’m grateful for all these milestones. So what’s next? I already talked about going part-time(89%) next year. So that’s set in stone. What you didn’t know is that I received a letter(a real letter in an envelope) in July with exciting news. Drumroll please! Du du du du. Now it`s out ..read more

First of November. It was my blog fifth birthday and I was not able to upload this blogpost. My laptop finally said goodbye and so did my health condition. Twenty years of being a full time flight attendant(read the anniversary blogpost here), five years of full time blogging and two years of commuting has left me in a physical state where my batteries are more than empty. A simple cold kept sick for more than four weeks and I was not able to recover even with medication. I realised it was my body screaming S-T-O-P. So I let down everything. I had to. I’ve been in a constant struggle jugglin ..read more

It was a chilly Monday in 1975 when my mom gave birth to me. And here I am. 44 years later, being a flight attendant for 20 years now and still going strong. I went through some ups and downs, highs and lows, but never lost my passion for that crazy thing called life. Even in my darkest hour, I knew this will pass. I’ve shared a very personal blogpost two years ago, where I talked about my toxic marriage and how I was able to get out of this relationship. Yes, I’m divorced. Yes, I’m single, nd no, I don’t have kids. But I can tell you that I’ve never felt happier in my life. And I’m not asha ..read more
