After our engagement, the first thing that I did after we designed my ring (which I am low key obsessed with) was “propose” to my bridesmaids! In all fairness, I think they both have known at some point that we would be getting to this because they are two of my oldest, closest friends/family members. Our luck hasn’t ever been the best with hotel rooms…the first time we went on a big holiday together (to Berlin) we stayed in a corner room that was almost the same size as a cupboard. It featured a huge scary mural of a lady with a fly on her mouth above the bed. I also poked myself in the eye with a chair. That’s wasn’t the room’s fault, although not the best. With our room at Turtle Bay, we basically won the lottery! Our room over looked the cove of the main beach, and it was heaven. Welcome back, me! I feel like I start every post off with some rambling apology/ story about why I haven’t written, but the thing is, I simply haven’t had the time or felt the need to write.
