Hello all,
Does anyone know replacement crown and stem part numbers for a mid 90's Longines Sport Wing? I'ts a mostly banged up watch that's been sitting in my drawer for awhile and I just really like the hefty of it, if that makes sense. I want to wear it. Ref# L3.612.3.92.6. The case back is stamped l3 612 e It's a blue dial model with the gold case accents. I believe this should have a gold plated crow (but have seen a few pictures of a stainless crown as well.) Any pictures I find of this watch show a distinctive crown shape that I'd like to match. I'm an originalist, what can I say? I al ..read more

I recently changed the battery in my mother’s easy reader. Indiglo works but not the movement. I looked for an AC reset point but don't see one. Any thoughts?

Hello, watch enthusiasts. I've recently taken on the task of attempting to repair my Vostock Komandirskie K35. Early indicators suggest perhaps a comparatively simple repair: the main issue appears to be a bent hair spring.
How can I get my hands on a replacement? EBay didn't have much to offer, but I might not be using the correct search terms. Should I look for just the spring, or should I look for a balance complete? Maybe a donor movement?
Thanks!

Anyone know a way to dissolve the glue so I can clean up this crystal and re-glue it without making the giant mess that somebody did?

hello again! I need your help, since I have to change the entire movement and I can't find it. I already searched with the 763 on the back but it doesn't appear. Could someone guide me please?

Hi!
I just got a Seiko and the bracelet needed adjustments as it is too long. However, the pins for the bracelet is a little strange, as it doesn't look like the straight pins that I saw on YouTube. If anyone can help with identifying the pins or suggestions on how to adjust it, let me know!

Hi all, my Rolex 3035 that’s been serviced has an issue with hand winding. The issue is that sometimes the crown won’t turn. It’s similar to when a hand wound watch reaches the end of the mainspring, but with force it can be overcame and continues winding otherwise smoothly.
The issue does not occur when the automatic module is off, but I inspected all the parts and I did not see anything wrong. So I don’t know if there’s any parts I need to replace.
Any ideas?
Edit to add: the auto winding on its own will wind the watch. Winding the watch by gently swinging the rotor does not cause the issue ..read more
